SUMMER STUDENT SUPERVISOR – GUEST SERVICES NETWORK
PART TIME – 5 MONTH CONTRACT
JOB SUMMARY:
Guest Services Network Summer Student Supervisor participates in various activities and projects as designated by the Managers of Guest Services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will be responsible for direct supervision of staff in all areas of the department, including: Patient Food Services, Tim Hortons and Environmental Services at Met Campus and Ouellette Campus
- Maintain a strong customer focus in departmental operations
- Ensure follow-up of any issues pertinent to the daily requirements of the department
- Vacation replacement this position(s)
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Currently attending a College/University program for Food and Nutrition or Dietetics, Environmental Studies, Business and Management program
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good health and hygiene
- High standards of sanitation and safety
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience in food service
- Demonstrates mature, professional and responsible attitude
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
- General good health and a level of fitness appropriate to the demands of the position
- Ability to work safely in accordance with all aspects of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
