The HQ Background

Launched in 2022, The HQ is CHA Learning’s/HealthCareCAN’s podcast series where we will explore and discuss topics and issues relevant to healthcare today. The HQ focuses on the people that make up and lead our complex, adaptive system of healthcare. It provides views from the perspective of those who lead the people in healthcare.

The goal for The HQ is to become a trusted “health headquarters” (The HQ) for thought leadership. Through conversations with our guests, we intend to offer both a community and safe space for health leaders to share their experiences and to provide our audience the opportunity to learn and understand what matters most to those leading our health workforce.

Host: Dale Schierbeck

Dale Schierbeck is the Vice-President, Learning & Development for HealthCareCAN, Canada’s national association of healthcare organizations. He is a senior health leader with a passion for continuous learning and is a “Certified Training and Development Professional” (CTDP) with over 25 years of experience in learning and development. In his role, he provides strategic and executive leadership to CHA Learning, HealthCareCAN’s innovative, online professional development division.
