The Talking About Tough Issues course, marks a significant addition to the educational landscape for long-term care professionals. This 3-hour micro-eLearning course is designed to provide long-term care home team members at all role levels with tools and techniques to face challenging conversations in their day-to-day work.

The Talking About Tough Issues course uses realistic scenarios, curated resources, and meaningful content to empower learners to have effective conversations to facilitate teamwork, healthy relationships, improved quality and safety, increased innovation, and healthy organizational cultures.

The PSW Education Fund aims to builds capacity in long-term care homes to deliver high-quality and safe care that meets the needs of residents and provides funding for Ontario long-term care homes to support their team members to participate in skill-building education.

Talking About Tough Issues is part of the Leadership Express Micro-eLearning Series, developed and delivered by CHA Learning, the learning division of HealthCareCAN. The Leadership Express Micro-eLearning Series equips healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge to lead teams with confidence. The series is made up of three unique micro-eLearning courses:
