Shelley Hale
Shelley Hale is an experienced healthcare leader with more than 30 years of clinical and administrative experience across health and social services. Throughout her career, she has led interprofessional teams, supported organizational performance, and advanced initiatives that strengthen leadership capacity, service delivery, and access to care across complex healthcare systems.
Shelley currently serves as Director of Support Services with Service Coordination Support and is Principal Consultant with SEHale Consulting. She also teaches in the Social Service Worker program at Algonquin College. Previously, she served as Director of Patient Care Services at The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, where she provided executive leadership for clinical programs and multidisciplinary teams.
Dually registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, Shelley served on the College’s Council for 20 years, including three years as President. She holds a Master of Arts in Leadership with a Health Specialization from Royal Roads University, a Certificate in Program Management from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development Studies from the University of Waterloo, and a Social Service Worker diploma from Algonquin College.
Shelley is a certified LEADS facilitator and has completed professional development in coaching and conflict resolution. Her areas of expertise include leadership development, performance management, coaching, mentoring, systems leadership, and interprofessional collaboration. As a member of the CHA Learning faculty, she is committed to helping healthcare leaders build practical leadership skills that improve organizations, teams, and the delivery of care.
