Marianne Katusin

Marianne Katusin is a healthcare support services professional with more than 20 years of management experience spanning food and nutrition services, patient transport, call centre operations, waste and linen management, procurement, technology implementation, and project management. She currently serves as Director of Support Services at Halton Healthcare and has been a CHA Learning faculty member since 2007.

Marianne has held progressively senior roles with Halton Healthcare, including Manager of Food Service Procurement & Retail Operations, Manager of Operational Readiness, Manager of Patient Food Services, and Manager of Support Services. Her experience includes managing patient and retail food services, purchasing and procurement, operational planning, and a range of support services that contribute to healthcare operations and the patient experience.

Earlier in her career, Marianne worked in food services at Georgetown Hospital within William Osler Health Centre and in Nutrition & Food Services at Mississauga Hospital. Her experience with healthcare food services, technology, and operations provides her with a broad perspective on the management of support services within complex healthcare environments.

Marianne holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Administration & Information Management from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Diploma in Food & Nutrition Management from CHA Learning. Her additional professional development includes project management, Lean Healthcare, food safety, auditing, and crisis prevention intervention.

As a CHA Learning instructor, Marianne draws on her extensive healthcare management experience to share practical knowledge and support the development of future food and nutrition management professionals.
