Gabriella Benedetti

Gabriella Benedetti, B.Com., is a food service professional and educator with more than 15 years of experience spanning food service management, nutrition services, long-term care, acute care, and education. Her career has included roles as a Food Service Manager, Food Service Supervisor, Dietetic Assistant, instructor, and educational consultant.

Gabriella has worked in both long-term care and acute care environments, where she has supported the delivery of high-quality nutrition and food services for residents and patients. Her management experience includes overseeing food service operations in long-term care and working with dietary staff to meet organizational and resident care goals. She has also worked as a Dietetic Assistant with Hamilton Health Sciences.

In addition to her healthcare food service experience, Gabriella has a strong interest in education and professional development. She has taught within the Food Service Worker program and developed and taught the course Nutrition Controversies: Whom to Believe? at Mohawk College in Hamilton. She also brings her professional experience to learners as an Educational Consultant with HealthCareCAN/CHA Learning.

Gabriella holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph. As an educator, she is passionate about sharing her practical experience with dietary aides, supervisors, and learners preparing for careers in food and nutrition management.
