Dale Mayerson
Dale Mayerson, RD, is a Registered Dietitian, educator, and author with extensive experience in clinical nutrition, food service management, long-term care, quality improvement, and professional education. Her career has included leadership and clinical roles in long-term care and rehabilitation, as well as more than 20 years of experience teaching nutrition-related courses.
Dale served as Director of Food Services and Clinical Dietitian at Copernicus Lodge for 10 years before joining the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute as a Clinical Dietitian. She later returned to Copernicus Lodge as Education and Continuous Quality Improvement Coordinator, supporting education and quality initiatives across the organization. She currently works as a Registered Dietitian Consultant with Aramark.
Education has been a significant part of Dale’s career. She has taught at George Brown College and Centennial College and has served as a CHA Learning instructor for many years. She is the author of Clinical Care Manual for Nutrition Managers and co-author of Menu Planning in LTC and Retirement Homes, resources used in Ontario college programs for nutrition management learners.
Dale holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Toronto Metropolitan University and completed her Registered Dietitian internship at Toronto Hospital. She is also a graduate of the Food Service Management program through the Canadian Healthcare Association, holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, and completed a Certificate in Teaching and Training Adults at George Brown College.
