Lori Webel-Edgar is the Primary Care Collaboration Lead at the Couchiching Ontario Health Team and a Registered Nurse with more than 38 years of experience across Canada’s healthcare system. Her career spans acute care, community health, public health, and health policy at both the provincial and national levels. She is a dynamic healthcare leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, organizational development, advocacy, and leading initiatives that strengthen person-centred care.

Lori holds a Master of Nursing from Athabasca University, where she focused on understanding maternity care in Canada. Throughout her career, she has successfully led interdisciplinary teams, managed complex initiatives, and supported healthcare organizations in improving quality, safety, and system performance.

Since joining the CHA Learning faculty in 2021, Lori has been committed to helping healthcare professionals develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead improvement in their own organizations. She is passionate about building capacity in healthcare improvement and patient safety and believes empowering others is key to creating stronger, safer, and more person-centred healthcare systems.
