Mike Benallick

Mike Benallick is Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, where he leads leadership development initiatives that strengthen employee experience, organizational effectiveness, and leadership capacity across one of Canada’s largest healthcare organizations. As a certified LEADS Specialist, he has played a key role in designing and delivering LEADS-based learning that helps leaders translate the framework into practical leadership behaviours and everyday practice.

With more than 24 years of leadership experience spanning healthcare and higher education, Mike has held progressive leadership roles in organizational effectiveness, quality improvement, enrolment management, and leadership development. Before joining the Saskatchewan Health Authority, he served as Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Leadership and Quality Improvement Specialist with Five Hills Health Authority, following a decade in senior leadership at Briercrest College & Seminary.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts from Briercrest College and is a Certified LEADS Specialist, Certified Lean Leader, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and Certified Core Strengths Facilitator. He is also certified to facilitate Crucial Conversations, The Five Behaviours of a Cohesive Team, and Coaching Out of the Box, and is currently completing his Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation.

As a member of the CHA Learning faculty, Mike is committed to helping leaders develop practical leadership skills that strengthen teams, foster collaboration, and improve healthcare outcomes through intentional leadership practice.
