Oya Muslu

Oya Muslu is a multidisciplinary professional with experience spanning nutrition management, healthcare operations, user experience, communications, and public relations. She has been a faculty member with CHA Learning’s Nutrition Management program since 2019, supporting learners in Human Resources Management & Communications and Quality Management.

Oya’s healthcare experience includes management roles in long-term care, where she served as Nutrition Manager and Environmental Services Manager with Southbridge Care. She previously worked as a Food Service Supervisor with Extendicare, following several years working in the culinary industry in Toronto. Her combination of food service and management experience provides her with practical knowledge of nutrition and food service operations in healthcare environments.

More recently, Oya has expanded her professional practice into user experience design and research. She has worked as a User Experience Designer with Sun Life, a Product & User Experience Specialist with WebDiva Consultants, and currently works as a User Experience Researcher with Tech Fleet. Her work focuses on creating inclusive and accessible digital experiences informed by the needs of users.

Oya studied Nutrition Management and Culinary Management at George Brown College and Public Relations at Anadolu University in Türkiye. She has also completed studies in User Experience Design through George Brown College and Google and Web Accessibility through W3Cx. She brings this multidisciplinary perspective to her faculty role, connecting healthcare operations, quality, communications, and people-centred approaches to support future nutrition management professionals.
