CHA Learning Faculty | LEADS Inspired Leadership

Peter’s Leadership Journey is now entering its 4th decade. His agile navigation of newsrooms, executive boardrooms and negotiating rooms has transformed him into a multi-instrumentalist in the fields of leadership and coaching.

He recently retired from a 38-year career in healthcare, including the final 16 years as the Royal Ottawa Health Care Group’s Director of Learning and Organizational Development. Peter is also considered a pioneer in the conceptualization and development of Telemedicine, or what we know of today as virtual health care. This mainstream care option utilized across Canada began as a seed of Peter’s imagination in 1998 fueled by inspired and courageous colleagues and physicians at the Royal who devoted 20 years piloting and standardizing technology enabled healthcare.
